St. John Pandas
Introduction
St. John Pandas was officially formed in 2013 by Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Brigade Youth Command to offer standard basic first-aid training for primary school students.
Mission
- To organise activities which allow parents, teachers and students to join together and serve as platform to share;
- To strengthen communication and cooperation between schools and parents;
- To develop self-reliance, self-respect and self-confidence of young members through activities and training with the aim of building up a caring and harmonious society.
Objectives
- To extend St. John's services to primary school campuses in Hong Kong;
- To provide opportunities for primary school students to receive standard basic first-aid and home nursing training;
- To allow primary school students to make new friends, gain knowledge of first-aid and learn outside the classroom through participating in group activities and training, thereby exploring their potentials, nurturing their good characters and cultivating their interests.
