Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Brigade Youth
Command ("Youth Command") has always strived to provide first aid, home
nursing, foot drill, and other interpersonal and practical training for youth
members. We also focus largely on building up the personal character and the
team spirit of Cadets, and encourage them to put their learning to good use. For the all-round development of Cadets, Youth Command organises different
activities regularly, including various proficiency courses, annual
inter-divisional competition, summer camps and exchange tours, etc. Through the
participation in the activities, Cadets may gain knowledge and experience in
various aspects, and become confident and committed to society.
Youth Command operates different subsidy
schemes for needy student members. The schemes can assist needy student members
in purchasing uniforms, and participating in activities and training courses
held by the Youth Command.
Schools are welcomed to apply for the
establishment of a cadet division, so that students may have the opportunity to
learn more different skills after school.
