HK Uniformed Groups 10,000 miles Friendship Trek
10,000 miles Friendship Trek jointly organised by the 14 youth uniformed groups in Hong Kong has been held since 2002 with the aim of providing youth members with the opportunities to visit the Mainland, learn more about the country's achievements in recent years, and broaden their understanding of the nation and culture. Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Brigade Youth Command ("Youth Command") has been arranging for its members to participate in the programme together with members of other youth uniformed groups. In the past few years, we visited Beijing, Shandong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, etc.

International Exchange Programme
Youth Command always keeps a close contact with other St. John Ambulance around the world. In order to understand more about our counterparts and to learn from one another, Cadets are selected for regular exchange programmes. On the 70th Anniversary of Youth Command in 2018, an exchange tour to Malaysia was organised with the participation of 130 officers and Cadets. In addition to the visits to the headquarters of St. John Ambulance of Malaysia, ambulance depot and dialysis centre, participants also attended a divisional parade, which promoted cultural exchanges and strengthened the ties of friendship between young people of both Hong Kong and Malaysia. Moreover, exchange tours to London and Wales of the United Kingdom as well as Kazakhstan were organized respectively in 2017. These activities not only allow Cadets to gain a better understanding of the customs of different regions, but also build up their global vision.
