Cadets' Enrollment Ceremony and Passing-out Parade
Cadets' Enrolment Ceremony and Passing-out Parade is one of the major annual events of Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Brigade Youth Command ("Youth Command") for all newly enrolled cadet members. They swear an oath together in the ceremony, which marks an important milestone for them to have completed their basic training and officially joined St. John.

Sport Activities
All-round development of cadet members has always been the priority of the Youth Command. Over the years, we have organised Sports Day, Football Match, Touch Rugby Competition and other ball games to encourage officers, members and their families to participated in sports activities, keep fit and healthy, and foster bonding and communication.

Summer Camp
Cadets' Summer Camp is a tradition and a major annual event of the Youth Command for promoting mutual support and friendship among officers and cadet members from different divisions, as well as enhancing self-development and growth. Participants may experience the joy of communal living.

Individual First-Aid and Home Nursing Competition
Through annual Individual First-Aid and Home Nursing Competition, cadet members can learn from each other so as to improve the relevant skills and enhance the knowledge.
Cadets' Inter-divisional Competition
Cadets' Inter-divisional Competition takes place after the summer holiday every year in four aspects, including Uniform Inspection, Foot Drill, First-Aid and Home Nursing. Participating in the competition not only broaden the knowledge of Cadet but also strengthen their sense of belonging, hence fostering a team spirit among them.
May Fourth Flag Raising Ceremony
In order to cultivate the sense of responsibility and commitment to the nation, Youth Command has been joining the May Fourth Flag-raising Ceremony by the Committee of Youth Activities in Hong Kong at the Golden Bauhinia Square every year together with other local youth uniformed groups.

Flag Raising Ceremony at Golden Bauhinia Square
Since 2008, Youth Command has been participating in the flag-raising ceremony organised by the Home Affairs Bureau. Each of the youth uniformed groups in Hong Kong holds the ceremony in turns at the Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai on the second Sunday morning of every month. To reflect the significance of the ceremony, Cadets with outstanding performance will be chosen as the flag raisers and flag bearers to raise the National Flag and the Regional Flag in the ceremony.
