Welcome to the Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Brigade Youth Command
Homepage.
Established in 1948, Hong Kong St. John
Ambulance Brigade Youth Command (“Youth Command”) is one of the operating units
under the Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Brigade and adhered to its motto, "For
the Service of Mankind". Since the establishment, the Youth Command has
not only provided first aid and home nursing training to teenagers but also
organized a variety of activities to foster good characters and team spirit, and to enhance their knowledge and
skills which lead to their all-round development. There are more than four thousand voluntary officers and members in the Youth Command.
In response to the rising demand and
expectation of the youth services from the public and different
stakeholders in recent years, the Youth Command continuously
improves its services so as to offer cadets more
opportunities to further their learning
and development. The collaborations and exchange activities between the Brigade
and the medical and social services units from various Mainland provinces on
various areas deepen cadets’ understanding of the national
development. In addition, we also work with the St. John networks in over 40
regions and countries to discuss matters relating to teenagers and plan various
activities which aim at broadening their global perspectives. All these
measures are to encourage cadets to develop an active approach to life and a
positive sense of social awareness.
The Youth Command Homepage provides more detailed
information about our activities and services. Should you have any enquiries, comments or suggestions about our services, please do
not hesitate to contact us.
